Q : HOW DOES A SPECIAL COMMISSION PROCESS WORK & HOW MUCH DOES IT COST ?
A : Glad you asked ! To get the process started you can fill out a contact form on the contact page of this website or email us at info@thepainterlyhermit.com or customerservice@thepainterlyhermit.com Give us a brief description of what you are interested in having done and we will get in touch with you asap to discuss the possibilities. The cost of each commission is as unique as our customers. Once we know what you need we will create a no obligation price quote specifically for you.
Q : WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE SPECIAL COMMISSION SERVICE ?
A : Each special commission is unique and one of a kind for each client. We will work with you every step of the way to make sure you are more than pleased ! The price of each special commission includes : 1. an initial client service consultation
2. up to three (3) conceptual rough sketches of inspired ideas
3. frequent client contact updates ( for remote commissions)
4. a beautiful finished product delivered to your door!
Q: ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN FEES OR COSTS IN MY PRICE QUOTE?
A: In a word, NO. The price you are quoted is the price you will pay. There is a small additional fee for each additional rough compositional sketch should you require more than the three (3) provided with the service.
Q: AM I LIMITED TO THE SUBJECT MATTER OF THE WORK OF ART COMMISSIONED?
A: Absolutely not! While we specialize in Modern Christian and Seashell Art, we are more than happy and professionally equipped to handle any commission request. Please also understand that we reserve the right to politely decline any commission request.
Q: IF I WANT A COMMISSION, WHAT IS THE DEPOSIT REQUIRED?
A: We require a 50% non-refundable deposit upon accepting a commission.
Q: WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND AND/OR WOULD LIKE TO CANCEL MY COMMISSION REQUEST?
A: We want you to be happy and we value you as a potential client. If for any reason you would like to cancel your commission request we will indeed honor that request. However, please understand that there is a deep investment of time, talent and materials that goes into each and every commission. As such, we retain the 50% initial deposit to defray the cost of materials specifically purchased for the commission and the creative hours spent working on compositional sketches and/or working on the finished product that was ceased.
