Who is YOUR favorite artist and WHY ?

Okay Fine Art enthusiasts, thanks so much for your patience! It's been a while since I dropped a line to say hello.

While I am busy getting together some wonderful works of Art to fill my webstore with, I thought I would start off my blog with an easy...... well not so easy question for any art history and fine art enthusiasts out there:

Who is YOUR favorite artist and WHY are they your favorite?

There is no right or wrong answer here and the only rule is that you cannot name yourself ( that wouldn't be fair now would it ) 

I have found that nothing gives insight into what makes an Artist or a lover of Art tick like this question. I know it's hard, there are just so very many wonderful artists to choose from.But just one!
